Post 38 Directives

Maintenance

Post 38 has a collection of standard procedures, manuals and policies that are maintained by the Post Adjutant who is the Chair Person of the DC (Documentation Committee) as an additional duty.  The DC comprised of Post Officers and Members nominated by the Adjutant and approved by the Commander.  The DC is charged with annual review of the Post Directives to ensure that they are current and relevant with no conflicts with the Post CBL (Constitution and ByLaws) and each other.  In addition, the DC also reviews any proposed directives prior to sending them to the EC (Executive Committee) for approval.  After review and approval by the EC, the directives are then brought before the Post Members at a monthly meeting.  The only exception to this rule is the Post CBL which can only be modified/changed at the Annual Membership Meeting after notification to all Post Members.

Dissemination

In the interest of operational transparency, all Post Directives are available to all Post Members for their review.  You may download Post Directives by clicking on the DOWNLOAD link provided in the description of the document.
