JUNE 2023 – We are soliciting your input on the site.  Why are we doing this?  Since the site is for the members of the Post, we thought that you should have input to the design and content of the website.  

NOTE – Over the next few weeks the site will be modified to bring it current – I was expecting someone to step up and start learning the software and the site but they just faded into the sunset so we are still looking for someone to jump in.  If you would like to volunteer to give it a try, just let Commander White know or send me an email at ed.stracka@gmail.com.

When the site was created by Ed Stracka (still your webmaster) in 2011, it was done with old technology – currently it is using WordPress and Elementor which is one of the most popular content manager technologies currently.  Over time various individuals have contributed to the site but I still end up keeping up the site (Steve Dickey was a significant contributor during his tour as Post Adjutant).  As you know I am getting a little long in the tooth so we need to find someone who will be working to learn the software to manage the site at some point and also manage the other websites of Posts in the Department.

Since we will have a new viewpoint with different experience coming into the upkeep and management of the site, I thought that this would be a good time to look at what we have and where we want to go moving forward.  Please take a look at the site and see if it is providing you with useful current and historical information.  What would you like to see on the site?
